Mappery For the love of maps

Brekenridge Bourbon

Another whisky themed post today, this time from Breckenridge Bourbon in Colorado. I have to confess I needed to Google what the word “Gulch” meant that appears several times on this map. Apparently it is what our North American friends use to describe a “narrow and steep sided ravine, marking the course of a fast stream” but it is not a word familiar to us Brits (well me anyway!). Remember Mappery is not just here to entertain but to educate too!
