You sort of know that this is going to have come from Reinder 🙂 Saw this in front of a shop in Gorinchem, the Netherlands. Not quite spectacular – but still … It might not be spectacular but I would love a blanket like that [HINT]
Elizabeth spotted this Burberry scarf. I’m not sure what it is trying to represent? Perhaps that Burberry is a global brand contributing to the melting of polar icecaps and a reduction of species diversity. Or maybe I am over reading this one
My pal Andy Coote sent me this pic by his colleague and another old friend David Rix. A pint of beer a fair way into the Arctic Circle – cold beer and a map, what’s not to like? I wonder if they need to chill their beer up there?
Scott Simmons sent us this pic of a pair of magnificent ski pants that might help you out if you get lost on the mountain (unless you are on the other side!). Spotted at Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Another booze and map pic, this time from Ken. Nice reverse of the locator map calling out from the larger map of Europe.
Another beer and maps pic. Jack Charge shared this can of beer from Trolls Beer. I think the map is New Jersey
Reinder Storm sent me these pics of a ticket machine in Amsterdam Central station. It even instructs you to take pictures of the route maps.
Eric Breedon sent us this from Nashville Tenessee. It’s a map of a trendy Nashville neighbourhood called The Nations on the side of the 51st Deli (amazing what you can discover with Google Maps)
I get why currency change places would use a world map to indicate the range of currencies that they exchange. This one is a nice example spotted in Eilat, Israel
