Barry Rowlingson spotted this tattoo. “Met a #maptat in the wild today – I’d get one of these but I’d feel I had to point my arm north all the time”
Ant Scott sent this pic from Antananarivo in Madagascar. “Antananarivo Madagascar – can’t tell if the facing tiles correspond to admin boundaries but I like to think they do” For those of you who are not on top of your Madagascan geography here is a screenshot of the regional borders.
Glen Pawelski sent us this pic. I know it is just a map in a frame but the layout, the styling and the font make it a thing of beauty IMHO.
Doug G spotted this. “42N Brewing Asylum Porter Birds eye map of Buffalo State Hospital area.” Strong beer, nice map.
Matthew Edney shared this from his local store. What self respecting map geek is not going to want to taste that beer?
Kaakaapoo sent us this super massive floor map of Leeds “My favourite #MapsInTheWild for @mappery, the map of Leeds filling the main room of Leeds City Museum”. Almost makes me want to visit to Leeds!
