Mark in Philly sent us this interesting use of a map at the Philadelphia Flyers Stadium.
“The Philadelphia Flyers’ rallying cry this season is “Bring It To Broad,” referencing Broad Street – host to Philadelphia championship parades and home to its sports stadium district.
While I was at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday to see the Flyers play the Hurricanes, I noticed that they’ve chosen an unusual city base map for their flashy pregame big board graphics – US Census tracts. Maybe “Bring It To Census Tract 42101980600″ instead?”
Reminds me of the football shirts that have a city street map as a background.
