There are many gateways onto the Ashdown Forest, this map shows routes into the forest from The Gallipot Inn. From here paths lead to Pooh Bridge where you can explore trails that lead up through wooded heathland to Gills Lap and take in the amazing views looking north across Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
At the end of your walk, you could enjoy a drink at the Gallipot and share your adventures with Kerry the landlady.
