Mappery For the love of maps

The Oldest Map in the Wild

I spotted this star map, the Nebra Sky Disc, at the Stonehenge exhibition at the British Museum. It dates back to 1600 BCE so it’s certainly the oldest map we have featured on the site and possibly the oldest Map in the Wild in the world.

Pretty darn cool, a 3600 year old map!
