One of the highlights of 2021 was being able to resume some face to face meetings. In November we had our first Geomob event in London for almost 2 years, it was a heck of a lot of fun and a bit emotional to be able to hug old friends, talk geo and drink beers together. David Overton of Splashmaps had a few items on display and for sale and I couldn’t resist this Tube Toob which doubles as a scarf, a hat or a face mask – it complements my GDAL hoodie for the perfect map couture ensemble (well I think so!)
Arnaud, Ken and I want to say thanks to all of you who follow the site, comment and most importantly send us your Maps in the Wild. We hope we have provided a little bit of mappy fun for you in 2021 and here’s hoping that we get the opportunity to meet up and talk maps again in 2022.
