My birthday present this year was a trip along the Sognefjord (the longest and deepest in Norway). It was breathtakingly beautiful and inevitably we had to have a paper map to give us a sense of where we were along the route. After 25 years as a digital geographer I still enjoy the simplicity of paper and even more so when trying to get a zoomed out overview.
