Mappery For the love of maps

Walking on the World

Shona Frost sent me this

“Having received an invite to the BCS conference (which regrettably I can’t attend) it contained a link to your webpages. Suitably intrigued, I went to have a rummage and found your fantastic resource of maps out in the wild. Thanks for putting them onto a map (well, you would, wouldn’t you!) as it has enabled me to find that I had one that isn’t in your collection.

This is the map on the mezzanine floor of the Greenwich Museum, London. I loved it because it was a) huge, b) you could wander about on it and c) you could play with model boats too! What’s not to like?”

Indeed, I have to agree with Shona – what’s not to like? Certainly not a massive map that you can walk on!
