Reinder spotted these books in Antwerp.
“Wow – never saw this before: cartographical decorated head (or top) edge of a book. I ran into this one in Antwerp, in a quite tempting shop, called ‘Bookz & booze‘ … ” Books with street maps on their edges in a shop called Bookz and Booze, sounds like a perfect combo to me.
Looks like 2 volumes of VE Schwab’s “Shades of Magic” trilogy, I haven’t heard of her work so I am not sure why these books are decorated in this way, does anyone know?
